The Vision

calREDD™, California Real Estate Dynamic Data, reflects our long-term vision of creating one “property-centric” database with rich detail for all California real property, using advanced technology that goes far beyond current MLS systems.

Traditional MLSs contain real property records limited to those currently listed and historical records of prior listings. The focus of the MLS has been to facilitate offers of compensation and empower users to perform real property searches and valuations.  The calREDD™ vision expands this structure to capture all California real property records regardless of status. Imagine a database accessible to all California REALTORS® that contains every piece of real property with volumes of rich detail associated with each property—that is the vision of calREDD™.
 

The Vendor

The calREDD™ system will involve multiple vendors to ensure that calREDD™ offers the best technology choices available. Our first vendor, Concentric Software, offers an exciting and new user interface. Demonstrations of calREDD™ powered by Concentric Software have been very exciting. Beta testing is ongoing, and we anticipate that the first MLS will go live with calREDD™ in the coming months.

The calREDD™ system will be uniquely positioned to use its size, scale, and reputation to require new and exciting innovation, reliability, scalability, and efficiencies from its technology partners. Ongoing review of new and emerging technologies will continue as we work toward the vision of calREDD™ to create a world-class property information solution that delivers many long-awaited technology innovations and efficiencies.
